Wickersham Jewelry's History

Glen Wickersham began Wickersham Jewelry in 1959, in Abbotsford, with just 800 square feet of selling space. Today, Wickersham Jewelry can be found in Rothschild near the Cedar Creek mall, in Marshfield and in the Cedar Wood Plaza in Rhinelander. (The family also operated a store in Neillsville from 1985 -1993)

Glen retired and in 1994 his four children took over the corporation. Jeff Wickersham, Vice President, handles the Cedar Creek store, a brother Robert is in Marshfield and sister Debra is in Rothschild. Gary, who managed the Neillsville store, died in 2001 in an accident.

Wickersham Jewelry participates in a variety of community activities including the Festival of Trees, Children's Service Society, Boys and Girls Club, United Way, Mosinee's Fire Department, Wausau Noon Optimist, Marshfiled Main Street, South Area Business Association, Wausau/Marathon County Chamber of Commerce - as well as supports the local schools, individual family fund raisers, New Life Pet Adoption, sportsman's and snowmobile clubs.
